Have you experienced Waterbury’s River of Light Parade? This spectacular annual event captures the magic of creativity, community, and season, involving all ages! Now you can be a part of it! (The actual parade is on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at dusk).

Work with artists Mame McKee, Sarah-Lee Terrat, and MK Monley to build a simple lantern to carry in the 10th annual River of Light Lantern Parade on Saturday, December 7th, 5:00pm in downtown Waterbury. Workshops are free to attend. All tools and materials will be provided. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. There will be a limit of 20 participants for each session. Donations will be welcome.

Activities begin on Friday evening with an outdoor firepit, s’mores and warm drinks (adult beverages additional), tree lighting, and Santa’s arrival with the help of the Waterbury Fire Department Squad and their Fire Truck! The fun continues Saturday with cookie decorating, ornament making, horse drawn wagon rides, and the whole family may gather around a beautifully prepared holiday Buffet Dinner and cheer on their favorite model in the Ugly Sweater Contest (the winner can come back for a free night’s stay!). The evening concludes with a family holiday movie with popcorn. When you spend the weekend with us in one of our beautiful guest rooms, your room rate of $129.99/night includes all the amenities and weekend events (alcohol and Buffet Dinner are extra).
Bright and early Sunday morning kick off the holiday season with a special chef-prepared breakfast with Santa for kids of all ages in our dining room.
