Waterbury is a giant outdoor playground and the ways to play are limitless! Pack your backpack and summit some of the high peaks of Vermont or mountain bike down them. Cool off with a dip in the waters of Waterbury or try your hand at canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, and fishing.

When the snow starts to fall, ski or ride hundreds of miles of powder-packed terrain at four renowned resorts, all within fifteen miles of Waterbury. Backcountry trails, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, ice skating and even sleigh rides round out the winter activities roster.
